Is the Money REALLY in the List?

We've all heard it before -- "the money is in the list." That maybe fine for the big-time gurus, but what about the rest of us? You put in the time (and money!), you follow all their advice. But you're no farther ahead than the day you decided to give internet marketing a try.

Truth is...you really need to be building a list of followers from Day One.

The easiest way to do this is to give something away, a product of value, information that people really need. Sacrifice a little up front, and you'll reap the benefits many times over in the future. It's what they call, "paying it forward."

After you get them to sign up for your free product, you have the chance to build a relationship, share some great tips, even a few secrets. Your list learns to trust you, believe that you're a quality source, a resource they can rely on.

Then when you send out an email about a hot new product, your followers are more likely to click that link, check out the offering. And spend money that brings you some sweet income. How much?

Experts say $1 per month per subscriber.

Do the math. A tidy list of 500 followers could cover your car payment (or maybe just the insurance!). Nice.

The most important point, though, is that your email list has to trust you. That means you don't spam them to death, and you don't send them junk. Pay it forward, and you'll never regret it.

How to build a list of trusting followers?

Check out List Laundering 2.0, Alan Magliocca's newest system for IM. He'll show you how to choose the right product, build a website that sells, and find partners to promote your product for you. Then he'll give you the tools you need to make it all work, plus teach you how to keep your list happy.

Such a deal! Check it out today -- you won't be sorry.
